PACKAGING DESIGN JOURNAL.

PACKAGING DESIGN JOURNAL. I am a fashion student · This tumblr is dedicated to research for project #1 of my design studio assessment. I have chosen to focus on developing packaging for my brand, Emily McGuire. This is my online journal.
I’ve finished designing my invites.  I’d have loved to have stuck with packaging but I was much less motivated when I was unable to create a physical outcome since I don’t have the skills to do so.

Reference my concept at in every element, from the materials chosen, the printing technique, the invitation style, and so on.

I’m also going to design and produce an envelop to compliment the invitations.   Since fashion is such a visual culture primarily considered with the tangible, creating something that the consumer can hold, feel and sense will be much more meaningful than an e-mail invite.
